Noakes was established in 1979 as a rigging company. Over the years the company has grown and evolved and today encompasses boat and ship yards in Sydney, Newcastle and Nelson Bay.

From dinghies to small ships, survey lifts or antifouling to major refits, osmosis repair or complete paint jobs, Noakes has the facilities and the highly skilled professionals to deal with any maintenance or repair issue on almost any vessel.

Noakes is a certified Nautor Swan repair facility and is an agent for Navman Marine Electronics. Noakes Sydney facility is accredited with an international quality system. It is registered to ISO 9002 standard by Standards Australia Quality Assurance Services for the provision of services such as haul-out, hardstanding, painting, shipwright and fabrication to the marine sector.
